To the "We" folks that doesn't want this in Ubuntu - please think of "other" people by considering the following ;
GimpShop allows people get an idea of how confident they can be when trying out FOSS programs instead of commercial proprietary programs. It also helps people try using a linux program, who are migrating from a windows system. If users can get productivity out of their new OS asap, then they are likely to want to stay with it. I have not used GimpShop, Gimp is OK. But I can appreciate what it would be like for newbies or people making the change in a business environment. Try "The" Gimpshop site - http://www.gimpshop.com/download.shtml look for "GIMPshop 2.2.8 Source: if you're running Linux or don’t mind getting your hands a little dirty in OS X (Darwinports). (13.5 MB) Download Alternate Download Link" and "Get the GIMPshop 2.2.11 for Debian package here." (which is just for i386) ** Summary changed: - [needs-packaging] GIMPShop + [needs-packaging] GIMPShop - Frontend for Gimp graphics editor -- [needs-packaging] GIMPShop - Frontend for Gimp graphics editor https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/114109 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
