i have the same problem when i used to install linux 2.6.26 kernel, but i think
this problem will
be solved if i install ubuntu 8.10 alpha4. But that problem appear again.:-(

i have an ASUS P5QL-PRO motherboard with a onboard ethernet card Atheros

a ATI HD3850 video card, a SATA 250G harddisk, an Intel E7200 cpu.
