Public bug reported:

Hello,

I have a lenovo t61, with a lot of special keys activated through "fn". For
instance, my arrows can manage multimedia when I press on fn+<arrow>.
So I created a .Xmodmap file as follow :
keycode 160 = F13
keycode 174 = F14
keycode 176 = F15
keycode 234 = F16
keycode 233 = F17
keycode 144 = F18
keycode 153 = F19
keycode 164 = F20
keycode 162 = F21
keycode 146 = F22

I load it through my session manager (system -> preferences -> session ->
xmodmap -> edit -> command = xmodmap ~/.Xmodmap )
Now I launch amarok, and configure my new keys. it seems to detect them when I
configure it, but later, no matter what I try, it seems that my keys are caught
before amarok can "hear" them (even if I'm focused on amarok window).
These keys work fine when I use my gentoo [I have a dualboot] and awesome or
fluxbox as window manager.

Is there a "hack" to allow amarok to see those keys?

My system configuration:

Description: Ubuntu 8.04.1
Release: 8.04
Gnome: 2.22.3
amarok 2:1.4.9.1-0ubuntu3+medibuntu1
amarok-xine 2:1.4.9.1-0ubuntu3+medibuntu1

thanks.
