Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: cvs

After installing cvs on hardy and performing a first checkout I receive
the following message.

cvs checkout: CVS password file /home/philip/.cvspass does not exist
- creating a new file

Problem:

  * No .cvspass created in home folder.

What should happen:

  * Should as the message suggests and create the file for you.

Workaround:

  * Manually create .cvspass in your home folder.

** Affects: cvs (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
