The previous call for testing of the 2.6.27 kernel was actually an
automated response. We needed to reach as many bug reporters at once
and manually updating bug reports by hand would have been extremely
inefficient. It was bound to happen that the stock reply would not
apply to all reports, so I apologize for any confusion it may have
caused here. We have however been monitoring any responses we've been
receiving so thank you for the reply.
I'm going to reassign this to the kernel team to take a look. However,
I'm not positive that this is an issue with the kernel but rather with
the installer. Thanks.
