Hi, Mathias, Now I'm running Ubuntu 8.04. The problem occurred after I updated to that version and when I was installing the MySQL-Server. I think I have fixed the problem om my system, by setting manually the privileges of the folders use by mysqld. It seems to be just an workaround but, just worked.
