I am really an unworthy bug not and greenhorn. I cannot do these things.

I would hope some wizard also bought the GPC of everex, facing the same
problem and willing to do the effort. As VIA bets their skin on linux, you
owuld expect some help from that quarter too.

I was really very much disappointed seeing how Ubuntu lacks all the normal
administrative tools (backup, networking, etc) I learned to appreciate with
Windows or Opensuse or mandriva. Fair enough, the forums helped me do things
I couldn't with the others.
