  Description:

Vivia - Multi-track Video Editor - very user friendly interface.

  Overview:

      * Efficient and easy editing of clips and transitions
      * "Multi-cam" edit mode: support for natural editing of scenes that were
recorded by multiple cameras simultaneously, as is typical in music videos and
interviews
      * Support for multiple "scenes" in a single movie project

  License: GPL

  Notes:
Please be aware that this is an ALPHA release, not intended for serious use.
It has not been widely tested.
The user interface is one of the nicest for multitrack video editors, so this
could prove to be a VERY POPULAR program when its fully tested.
Please put this in the repos, so the Ubuntu users can start trialling it and
scout out any remaining bugs, and make comments about what they'd like to see.
This is a program that Ubuntu should consider helping out, by enabling user
testing.
Because there are frequent comments about there not being many good (usable)
video editors between the extremes of Kino (easy) and Cinelerra (complex).
Vivia is very nice in the middle. (So is Open Movie Editor).

+ Please compile an AMD64 version, because the AMD64 is good multimedia
+ platform.
+
+ Check that that program does not cause errors with "libavformat.so.51"
+ the way the rpm version does when converted to deb by using Alien.
+
Also, can backports be made for other currently supported versions of
  ubuntu?
