Binary package hint: network-manager
I have noticed some problems with Network Manager Applet for Gnome.
-Can't have 2 networks running at once (ie: Wireless and Ethernet) - Should be
fixed in 0.7
-Manual config doesn't work (I noticed it doesn't put Broadcast address
(192.168.1.255) and network (192.168.1.0) for 192.168.1.XXX network as example)
- Noticed it has already been mentioned, but different problem
-Can not manually configure wireless IP unless the wireless is encrypted (you
have to pick an encryption type to set the IP, none is not an option)
-Connection info will report incorrect wireless speed (most the time)
Wireless is a Broadcom 4311 using the b34 driver for Linux. Hopefully
some of these problems will be fixed once 0.7 is released.
