Is this still a problem? (If you could test with KDE4 that would be great)
The backtrace you posted is without debugging symbols, and isn't of any use.
If you can get it to crash in a reproductive manner, could you install
kdebase-dbg and get a new backtrace? (kdebase-workspace-dbg for KDE4 if you
decide to test it)
