Command lspci | grep 'VGA compatible controller:' outputs 0000:01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: Matrox Graphics, Inc. G400/G450 (rev 82)
I am using XFS file system (except for linux-swap and boot partitions). The chrash does not happen every time, but I think it is more likely to happen when PC is on long time, before I select to shut down. It is almost like it used to be with Microsoft Windows 98SE :( (I am still using 6.06. I have read somewhere that support for Matrox cards would be worse in 6.10.) -- Hang/freeze/crash on shut down https://launchpad.net/bugs/63844 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
