If I remember correctly, there are packages which have hardcoded
(build-)dependencies with some haskell-related packages, so package list
could be longer than the actual. Debian didn't manage to move to 6.8.3
yet (in experimental neither), so this job would be all ours.
Suppose a package wouldn't be transitioned for some reasons, are there
known issues (package no longer functional, data loss, and so on) that
can be worse than performance issues?
