Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: kaffeine

When I start a video with Kaffeine and (accidently) doubleclick on it
while it is loading the whole system crashes totally.

The monitor turns black and nothing is happening anymore until a restart
(plugging the power off) is done.
It is not possible to switch into console mode with key combinations, nor to
reset the x-server.

This is happening for some while here on my machine.
However I was always unsecure how to report this bug as no normal traceback is
possible. Please give me a hint how to help to debug this. Ofcourse it is
always a sensitve thing to reproduce this bug as plugging off may be harmfull
to the diskdrive and file system.

My machine is a Asus M2N laptop with a builtin
i810 Intel Centrino graphics card.

This error occured on Kubuntu Hardy Heron 8.04.1 with KDE 3.5.10.

Some installed packages:
kaffeine: 0.8.6-0ubuntu8.1
libxine1: 1.1.11.1-1ubuntu3.1
xserver-xorg: 1:7.3+10ubuntu10.2

** Affects: kaffeine (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
