This update potentially fixes: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/pidgin/+bug/263293 (needs testing). I realise we may want to wait for Debian experimental before updating this package. If anyone would like to test it, I have it available on my PPA. deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/stefanlsd/ubuntu Pidgin 2.5.1 changelog: version 2.5.1 (08/30/2008): libpurple: * In the Join/Part plugin, add the ability to apply the rules to buddies.
