Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: splix
Hi, this may be related to the splix package. In the last few versions
of Ubuntu prior to Intrepid I've had no problem using this printer.
However with Intrepid I've started having problems.
In the printer properties there's an error next to Printer State:
Stopped - Filter "rastertospl2" for printer "ML-2010" not available:
No such file or directory
There are no messages in /var/log/cups/error_log but in syslog there is:
Sep 4 10:14:31 matts-laptop hal_lpadmin: Printer ML-2010 exists but
is disabled, reason: Filter "rastertospl2" for printer "ML-2010" not
available: No such file or directory; use 'cupsenable ML-2010' to enable
it
