Public bug reported:

Hi ,

I have reported this error already but i was suggested to fill in a new bug
report so here I am.
Lately i have been dealing with an annoying bug: Each time i try to "save as"
from a gnome application (firefox, openoffice, and so on) the application
crashes leaving nothing behind but a segmentation fault.

Switching between languages I have found out that this appears ONLY if i
use Romanian language (selected as you log in the system) and does not
appear if i switch back to English. Every time i change back to English
all works perfectly. The problem is that my parents do not speak
anything but Romanian so it is a real pain to force them to use a
computer in English.

Also if you open a terminal and set the LANG env to "export LANG=ro_RO"
, and start Firefox or whatsoever application and do a save as it will
not crash anymore. If you use "export LANG=ro_RO.UTF-8" all save as from
a gnome application will crash on any save as command. I think is a easy
bug and maybe others can confirm/infirm if they use also other languages
than English.

All the best
Adrian
