Is a fix for Bug 87077 a blocker for accepting an upgrade to a package that has been upgraded previously in Ubuntu despite this problem, and has been upgraded by Debian without worrying about this problem? I suggest not.
Also of course, only XMMS2 has ever reported this as an issue and then they switched to using Waf instead of SCons, so they don't actually care about this bug anyway. I have opened debate in the SCons developer list and the general view is that the bug is something that needs addressing in SCons but there is no acceptable quick fix. The correct solution to the problem is part of the programme for SCons 2.0. SCons 1.1 is to be released soon. This will make it to Sid, but probably not to Lenny. Wether it makes it to Intrepid is doubtful, but 1.0.0 should. -- SCons package not up to date in Intrepid https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/264607 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
