Sonst können wir auch deutsch schreiben :) Erst mal sorry, ich war geschäftlich unterwegs und hatte kein Internet letzte Woche. We should have a chat about how to achieve this. I still have some Swiss Remix CDs and of course quite some Ubuntu 8.10 ones we can hand out and use to install. I will try to get hold of some Ubuntu LTS 8.04.2 (released earlier this week), no idea if these are available as ready made CDs. As KDE 42 will be released next week I strongly suggest we try to get hold of a KDE 42 remix from the Kubuntu folks for OpenExpo, so we can hand out current releases. Example: I use 8.10 but with the current KDE 4.2 RC1, so it should be possible to have a CD with the current KDE release ready for that date. > - I'm collecting ideas and requirements for the DVD also and it is > interesting to note how many of these ideas are already being discussed > on the brainstorm pages. No idea, I never built a CD myself, but from ewhat I understood in the French forums it's what they use currently. > - can you guide me where to store documentation and discuss progress? > own wiki/forum? the mailing list? Will have a look at this tomorrow, it's getting late and I only came home a few hours ago after an absence of a week. > > I will be out of office next week, I'm afraid. I will be in Zürich this Wednesday for the KDE 42 release party at the ETH. Would be great if you could attend too. Se here [1] for more details.
