As for your question about adoption of Ubuntu by companies in Switzerland; I can't speak for many of them but I know that my company (a medium to large entity in Switzerland) does use Ubuntu on quite a lot of their servers. Also a question to the regular participants of the Ubuntu meeting: are the meetings and presentation usually/ only in (Swiss) German? I am from the French part...
