-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 I'm trying the lucid AMI (specifically ami-9ffe11f6) and can't get the "official" nx client to work with it.
The first error was that the client tried to use a user called "n...@ubuntu", which doesn't exist: Mar 8 18:25:52 domU-12-31-39-0A-4A-22 sshd[870]: Invalid user n...@ubuntu from x.x.x.x I then noticed that the nx ppa that is installed in this image was pointing to karmic: # cat /etc/apt/sources.list.d/freenx-team-ppa.list deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/freenx-team/ppa/ubuntu karmic main r...@domu-12-31-39-0a-4a-22:~# I fixed that, ran apt-get update && apt-get dist-upgrade and rebooted. Now the nx client seems to get further, but it still fails. At least it now tries the user "nx" instead of "n...@ubuntu". I see lots of debug outout in the logs, and even a python backtrace (one about a timeout, another about a type error while dealing with syslog). I can share the logs with the list if someone wants to see it, but they are large, maybe it's faster just to fire up the AMI and see it for yourself. - -- Andreas Hasenack [email protected] -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.9 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iEYEARECAAYFAkuVSXQACgkQeEJZs/PdwpDBOACfR5dUbvFz00F//mgg3wBfJk6P GbkAnAt7JpKJT6OJ2N9lowjP+yKKjzcQ =OD1Y -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- Ubuntu-cloud mailing list [email protected] Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-cloud
