I am uncomfortable having a server get its IP address via DHCP. I
would like to specify it myself - at least for the Cloud controller.
However the default install from CD assumes that it will be getting it
from DHCP - and then it goes and installs its own DHCP server which
apparently is supposed to be used for the work nodes.

Am I allowed to specify my own IP address for the Cloud controller?
When do I do so? If I change it after installation presumably there
are other config files which need changing in the Eucalyptus set up.

What is the best practice here?

Thanks

Alex
