hello,
a bug that affects the ability to boot the maverick image on certain instance
types has been fixed in natty and backported to maverick, but apparently the
fix gets reverted unless somebody confirms it fixed.
i'd be happy to test whether the fix allows booting into ec2 for m2 instance
types, but I lack the ability to spin a new maverick image to test with.
help!

This bug is awaiting verification that the kernel in -proposed solves
the problem. Please test the kernel and update this bug with the
results. If the problem is solved, change the tag 'verification-needed'
to 'verification-done'.
If verification is not done by one week from today, this fix will be
dropped from the source code, and this bug will be closed.
