All, In response to the latest rounds of CVE's [1, 2], and at the request of multiple Cloud Partners, users and the Ubuntu Security team, we have released new LTS Cloud Images for all supported LTS releases [3,4,5]. We strongly recommend that all users update their kernel and OpenSSL packages and use the latest images for launching new instances.
Canonical will be working with our partners over the next few days to get the respective gallaries updated. If you need documentation on enabling unattended upgrades, please see [6].
