Hello Loco Council members! My name is Andres Mujica and I'm the Ubuntu Colombia official contact. First of all, thanks for your support and hard work making LoCo Teams grow and multiply all over the world :)
I want to acknowledge the reported [1] bug 1007171 about our reapproval process. However, we've got some requests for Laura and you guys ;). - no idea why, but apparently the LoCo team expiration date was changed from mid august to 6 days from now, so obviously we don't want to get expired that soon. Would it be possible to move the expiration date at least for 1 or 2 months ? The previous date was in perfect timing for your next meeting on August 21st, and our efforts were/are focused on that date. - SergioMeneses, one of uco most prominent members, was the one who created the bug report. As He's an ubuntu-co council member and LoCo Council member we wonder if it's ok for him to be in charge of that bug; the last thing we want is to have some kind of conflict of interest or something like that, obviously Sergio is a great and serious guy, but it would be better to avoid that kind of things. If this is irrelevant please disregard. - hmm, I'm sure there's something else but don't recall it right now... anyway, we've been doing great and the feel from the community is happiness and lots and lots of stuff to do. :) We're just starting to document our re-approval wiki page but we made a 2011 report that contains good stuff about us as a community.
