The rules are set in order to fully cope with member interactions between each other, but also to base the interaction with a level of respect to each other. To surpass the language barrier, this mailing list will have a basis in English. Please follow them in order to keep the team's integrity as a whole.
1) Announcements of any kind (rules, projects, everything regarding our progress as a team) will be in ENGLISH PRIMARILY, period. If you want to include Greek and/or Turkish, you are *encouraged* and it is RECOMMENDED to do so! Other members/readers will be given the chance to translate the announcement in Greek and/or Turkish in further posts. 2) Support and questions by members or other users of this mailing list can be asked in English, Greek or Turkish. As a note, if a person asked in Greek, it is logical to reply and keep it in Greek. 3) Messages of a political nature (that don't have to do anything with technology) and/or messages that are not lighthearted in subject and message body are STRICTLY FORBIDDEN! 4) Anyone who violates the Ubuntu Code of Conduct [2] or those who do not agree on this basic rules are simply not welcome to post, but they can still read the mailing list. 5) No greeklish (greek using latin/english characters). They're hard to understand and really unattractive to read. Sorry for the capitals and enjoy your stay! :) [1] http://www.ubuntucy.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=49#p188 [2] http://www.ubuntu.com/community/conduct -- Ubuntu-cy mailing list [email protected] Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-cy
