As discussed on IRC I've not used the localization changes, the current behaviour is an upstream choice: http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=311339 Not translation "Desktop" makes sense too for the pathbar probably because the real folder on the disk is "~/Desktop" and not dependant of the locale I've uploaded a new GTK package with a slightly modified patch (updated to apply without the localization change): gtk+2.0 (2.8.9-2ubuntu1) dapper; urgency=low . * debian/patches/001_fs_documents.patch: - update based on the patch by Alain Perry <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> - use GTK_DEFAULT_FILECHOOSER_DIR by default - if GTK_DEFAULT_FILECHOOSER_DIR is not defined use the "Documents" folder - if that folder is not present use the upstream behaviour Thanks for your work on that! I've updated the wiki page about that too Cheers, Sebastien Bacher -- ubuntu-desktop mailing list [email protected] http://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-desktop
