Hi Garth, No problem contacting me directly; I've also forwarded this to the Ubuntu Desktop mailing list (generally the best place to announce Desktop related work).
I can help by blogging about this tool so that (hopefully) more people will use the PPA. I'd also recommend announcing it on a site like http://www.omgubuntu.co.uk/. The next step is to get the package into Universe so anyone can install it. The process is here: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UbuntuDevelopment/NewPackages You can talk to developers by hanging out in #ubuntu-desktop and #ubuntu-devel on Freenode. Don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions. Thanks for contributing! --Robert Garth Johnson wrote: > Hello, > > My name is Garth Johnson, and together with Nick Glynn we have developed > a solution for many of the requested features for the newer gdmsetup > utility.
