The GRUB of Ubuntu 7.10 Beta can NOT been installed on my AMD Platform(RS690+SB700), here is the bug report: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/grub-installer/+bug/146583 Please check my comments there, the GRUB is not installed each time.
Can any guys give me the root cause or solution or workaround? The bug is not getting the appropriate attention, so I have to send this mail.
