Hello. I've been a regular Ubuntu user for the past few years now and an occasional contributor.
I'd like to bring attention to the bug at https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/252237 The volume control in Ubuntu is unusable for many people because using it via the keyboard shortcuts, applet, or other mixer apps results in very jerky and unreliable adjustment. In previous versions of Ubuntu this didn't happen. For those to whom it does happen, it greatly burdens daily use especially for those of us who use a lot of applications with different default volumes and rely on the controls to work properly to adjust them. I hope that someone can offer me advise or assistance in this manner. If you have the bug I ask you to reply with some system configuration details like architecture and sound card. If a developer could be so kind as to look at the bug I would appreciate this. Thank you very much. xtknight -- Ubuntu-devel-discuss mailing list [email protected] Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-devel-discuss
