but after a weeks have heard not a single comment. This is a subtle problem,
but its there and should be addressed. In brief, using POSIX timers compiled
with Ubuntu's gcc kills the debugger. It was determined already by a senior
kernel developer that it is not a kernel issue, but problem with Ubuntu's
toolchain. I would appreciate it if the Ubuntu gcc maintainer could take a look.
