Here's an strace for whichever bug # it is. I just updated Thunderbird in 10.04, and now I can't switch to the Inbox tab or else it eats infinite memory and crashes the whole system.
Have fun with that. If my ISP didnt suck so bad I'd tag this to the bug. Somebody else do it.
