Hi, What is the reason to keep KDE specific packages, and other desktop environments as well for that matter, in the standard Ubuntu repos along with all the other packages? Wouldn't it be better to split them into their own repos? So that one can easily enable or disable a repo to either have access to or not accidentally install one from the wrong desktop environment. Lot's of KDE packages breaks standard Unity visual elements and functions and can also pull in lots of unwanted dependencies, it can be hard to clean up and restore the system to a working state again. It is also hard for inexperienced users to identify what packages belongs to what environment. Is it possible to separate them?
