-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 A few months ago I noticed that the udev rule in the kpartx package relating to dmraid is broken ( bug #737027 ). Currently dmraid only recognizes msdos partitions, not GPT. I believe that the solution to both of these problems is to disable the dmraid partition recognizer, and rely on a fixed kpartx udev rule to create the partitions, which will also support GPT.
The problem with this is that it will mean adding kpartx as a dependency of dmraid, thus pulling it into the default seed. Is this ok? -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.11 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org/ iEYEARECAAYFAk4HuR8ACgkQJ4UciIs+XuIW0wCfXXa4HQUQxAWxqnUl/S/olnw5 vIgAoITAP/txXTum7aJYR0w04lkQSofc =xbg7 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- ubuntu-devel mailing list [email protected] Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-devel
