A few months ago I noticed that the udev rule in the kpartx package
relating to dmraid is broken ( bug #737027 ). Currently dmraid only
recognizes msdos partitions, not GPT. I believe that the solution to
both of these problems is to disable the dmraid partition recognizer,
and rely on a fixed kpartx udev rule to create the partitions, which
will also support GPT.

The problem with this is that it will mean adding kpartx as a dependency
of dmraid, thus pulling it into the default seed. Is this ok?
