We announced at the start of the cycle moving from boost1.42 to boost.1.46 as
the default boost (and the only one in Main) with the objective of removing
boost1.42 from the archive. We are close. The six packages below are the
only ones left building against the 1.42 versions of the various boost -dev
packages. Could someone from the Ubuntu Desktop team please take a look at
updating these?
I haven't checked all the binaries for rdepdends yet. That's my next step.
Hey Scott,
Right, I discussed that with the dx team about one month ago, and it
should be an easy transition for nux/unity/compiz to go on. The only
reason I haven't completed the transition yet is because we arealreday
completing multiple heavy moving grounds right now on those projects and
I don't want to add noise to this.
Be ensure that the transition will be completed before beta freeze (I
still have a complex transition for unity just before feature freeze and
then, I'm confident to be able to clearly test and do an upload just for
moving from boost 1.42 to 1.46. I prefer that to be separated to avoid
mixing possible issues).
Cheers,
Didier
