Right, gnome-nettool itself doesn't take up much space. And I don't particularly think that is a maintenance burden since it will still be available for install for those who want it. My desire to remove it is because every additional GUI app we include by default adds a bit of extra clutter. I think gnome-netool has a poor user interface for the modern GNOME3 world and is completely undocumented. It is of no use to basic computer users or advanced computer users. I think cheese or pitivi for instance would make a better, more useful showcase app than gnome-nettool.
