Hi,

I'm working on LP #657275 (Apport, "ubuntu-bug should save reports offline
automatically rather than giving a cryptic error message"). What should be the
correct behavior?

If the user chooses to save the report, how should it be handled later when a
connection to the Internet is established?

I looked at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/ErrorTracker under "Client implementation"
and it says that Apport should save the file and a .upload file to /var/crash;
However, it appears that whoopsie won't open a URL if there is one, so there is
no way to edit the bug report.

Also, should the report simply be saved automatically or should the user be
prompted first?
