It was never the default, and if we only remove it from the installer and kernel udebs and not from the kernel config itself, there should be no significant migration concern. The only possible migration-related issue I can think of is that you might have trouble reinstalling on such a system and mounting an existing reiserfs filesystem neatly; you'd have to treat it as data during the installation and mount it later.
