Hi, we have merged the PR[1] that imported the special cases SRU documentation[2] into Read The Docs[3]. From now on, please do not make changes to the wiki SRU documentation[2] anymore.
The task now is to replace this wiki documentation[2] with links to the RTD[3] entries. I will be doing that over the next few days. If you are subscribed to the wiki pages, you will get emails about this changes. Note that this will mean two changes to each exception published in the wiki: - the index page[2], which links to the wiki exception page, will now link to the RTD page - the exception page (specific to each exception), which will link to its copy in the new RTD home. For example, and picking Kernel just because it's the first exception listed in the wiki: a) First, this text, where KernelTeam/KernelUpdates is a wiki link: Because of the way updates to the kernel work, it will follow a slightly different process which is described on KernelTeam/KernelUpdates. Will be replaced by: Because of the way updates to the kernel work, it will follow a slightly different process which is described on [KernelUpdates](https://documentation.ubuntu.com/sru/en/latest/reference/exception-Kernel-Updates/) b) Then the wiki page KernelTeam/KernelUpdates will have its contents replaced by: = Kernel security and update policy for post-release trees = {{{#!wiki warning This section has moved to https://documentation.ubuntu.com/sru/en/latest/reference/exception-Kernel-Updates/ }}} If you notice discrepancies between what was in the wiki, and what is in RTD, please file an issue in the SRU docs project[4]. And, with the documentation being in git[5], PRs are also accepted of course. 1. https://code.launchpad.net/~paelzer/sru-docs/+git/sru-docs/+merge/486736 2. https://wiki.ubuntu.com/StableReleaseUpdates#Documentation_for_Special_Cases 3. https://documentation.ubuntu.com/sru/en/latest/reference/package-specific/ 4. https://bugs.launchpad.net/sru-docs 5. https://code.launchpad.net/sru-docs -- ubuntu-devel mailing list ubuntu-devel@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-devel
