There is actually a distribution based on Ubuntu specifically made for
the Asus eeepc, and as I understand it they are releasing a major update
today that among other things will include Ubuntu netbook remix, the
site is www.ubuntu-eee.com I would wait until this new update goes gold
and install that ( the site doesn't seem to mention it yet as of this
post ). I haven't used it myself but have heard good things about it,
