Question #42952 on Ubuntu Eee changed: https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu-eee/+question/42952
Status: Answered => Open rjstep3 is still having a problem: Hi Daniel Thanks for really quick help - much appreciated. Every time I get to the instruction cd madwifi-hal-0.10.5.6-* FYI, that doesn't work - using my initiative (!) I substituted the name of the extracted file and it then worked (or seemed to). Whether I will get online with it is a different matter. Actually running the ubuntueeetweak.sh script achieved that and a whole lot more - so now I have a perfectly updated Ubuntu on my working eee. It took me a little time to work out how to do it, but I got there. Thanks again for your help.
