Can you confirm if the module 'rt2860sta' is being loaded?
Also, confirm that you have wireless enabled in the BIOS.

If enabled, it should be auto-recognized and loaded on startup. If not, you may 
have to add "rt2860sta" to /etc/modules (or just modprobe it)
If it worked, you should see a 'ra0' network interface under ifconfig and 
iwconfig
