This is a known issue; support wasn't added in time for the RC1 release.
Eventually a fix will be installed through the 'eeepc-config' package.

Bug description:
All the f-hotkeys are working, but the ones that is under the screen on the 901
doesn't do anything... It had some practical function that adjusted the atom
cpu speed manually, for battery saving..
