Please post the output of the following commands:
sudo lspci -v -nn
sudo hcitool dev
Also, open up /etc/default/bluetooth. Is BLUETOOTH_ENABLED=0?
If so, set it to 1 and run "sudo /etc/init.d/bluetooth restart"

Bug description:
I've installed 8.04.1 on a 1000. Bluetooth functionality does not appear to be
setup. I have made sure the device is enabled in the BIOS.
