So, "sudo apt-cache pkgnames | grep bluetooth" turns up nothing as well?
Did you disable any repositories?

Attached is the default /etc/apt/sources.list file shipped with RC1. Does it 
differ from your copy?
If so, can you attach your copy? ... maybe you're using a mirror that's out of 
sync with the primary ubuntu archive.

Bug description:
I've installed 8.04.1 on a 1000.  Bluetooth functionality does not appear to be 
setup.  I have made sure the device is enabled in the BIOS.
