Public bug reported:
Installed the RC from a live cd on a usb memory stick. When asked to
restart, the computer would not power off and I had to do a cold
restart. To test things, I made a second installation and the problem
remained. After booting from the SD card there was no problem powering
off. I have a Eee 901.
