Question #44245 on Ubuntu Eee changed: https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu-eee/+question/44245
Patrick K proposed the following answer: Jimbo, Yeah, the volume stuff is a little kooky on the 901. I found that the HDA Intel Alsa mixer volume control is where the volume can be properly adjusted. It is the program call volume control under Gnome. I access it under System-->Preferences-->Volume Control. You may be able to access it by right clicking on the speeaker icon on the taskbar and selecting "open volume control". The command line is "gnome-volume- control" The control will look something like the windows one. You'll notice under the playback tab, the headphone volume isn't set to max. I set that to max, and then modify the master volume as needed. -- You received this question notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Eee Coders, which is an answer contact for Ubuntu Eee. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-eee-coders Post to : ubuntu-eee-coders@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-eee-coders More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
