New question #44992 on Ubuntu Eee: https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu-eee/+question/44992
I installed ubuntu eee 8.04.1 on my eee900 yesterday. It did not start with the Notebook Remix interface. I wanted to try and downloaded and ran the nbr-switcher. Ran nbr-switcher on This gave error messages that I did not write down but they had something to do with Maximus and UME files not found On reboot my machines gives error messages from OAFIID:GNOME_LockKeysApplet OAFIID:GNOME_WindowPicker og OAFIID:GNOME_GoHome asking if I want to delete them and present me with an interface without menu that I seem unable to recover from. Do I have to reinstall Ubuntu eee 8.04.1, or is there an easier way out of this problem?
