Jon Ramvi posted a new comment: Jon Ramvi suggests this article as an answer to your question: When you click Esc (when the white loading screen is showing) you get to choose between booting from the hard drive and the sd card read - and you choose the SD card? The problem might be this; linux "counts alphabetically" though your drives. Hard drive: sda, memory card: sdb and so on. The memory card is set to boot from sdb (aka (hd1,0) ). If you have an external hard drive or something plugged in, linux might not set the sd card as sdb.
