New question #46097 on Ubuntu Eee: https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu-eee/+question/46097
Hi Recently downloaded Ubuntu EEE. - Burned ISO to CD. - Put it my LG Slim CD Drive plugged it in to my EEE 901 - Booted the live distro. - Selected install - in Parted I selected my 8GIG SDCH Sandisk Extream III card. - Ignored the (Need to allocate swap disk) - Went OK until it tried to load GRUB the failed with Fatal Error. I now have the distro installed on the SDHC Card but it will not boot. I select the card from the ESC boot menu but it just hangs Now to the Question: I want to keep my EEE 901 as is un till I am happy that Ubuntu EEE does what I want. It looks promising and looks better than all the rest. Is there a proper way to do what I tried to do. I don want to boot the live distro from the card I want do boot Ubuntu proper. I want to allocate users, use WIFI, Printers etc ALL from the SD card.
