Bug description:
Ok, been using Ubuntu on my Eee for about a week now, and for the most part,
all is well. My biggest qualm is the fact that the mute button doesn't really
work. If you shift +F7, it gives the displays mute, but sound still comes out.
Also, I keep an SD card in the slot for some media files, and whenever I close
my Eee and open it back, I get a unsafe device removal warning. That can be
annoying.
Lastly, I really cannot stand the fact that Compiz disables both Totem and
Cheese, and I have to take off all 3D effects whenever I want to operate those
programs.
These problems sometimes tempt me to restore the default Xandros. Also, might
I ask how the Xandros system is able to boot up so fast in comparison to Ubuntu?
